Our story

We started our parrot journey in 2006 after purchasing a female eclectus named Jessie, soon adding James who both lived in our Living Room becoming part of our family. 

Within 6 months we had bought our first breeding pair and without much knowledge we found ourselves on a very steep learning curve to care for these babies and bring them up. Fortunately we were able to learn from a number of people at the NSW parrot society, who patiently taught us how to care for these amazing creatures. Over 300 babies later we have a fully funtioning nursery and flight area for young juveniles and many breeding pairs of eclectus including pure sub species, amazons and african greys. We currently breed up to 40 babies per year, which keeps us extremely busy from spring to summer.
